Push the tube in and the ring bites gently on the outside of the tube, so pulling on it only makes the grip firmer. To release, press the collet cap in towards the body and pull the tube straight out. The cap end also rotates a full 360 degrees, which matters more than it sounds: as the tool head moves, the tube twists rather than fighting the joint, so nothing works itself loose or kinks at the fitting.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003eFitting It Properly\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n  \u003cli\u003eCut the tube square.
