About PLA-Aero Yellow (Lightweight PLA)
PLA-Aero Yellow is a specialist lightweight foaming PLA filament designed to produce ultra-light 3D prints with a vibrant yellow finish. As an active-foaming material, it expands during extrusion at higher temperatures, creating a lightweight internal structure that significantly reduces overall part weight.
This foaming behaviour allows prints to be up to 30–50% lighter than standard PLA, depending on print settings and flow rate. The expansion also helps reduce visible layer lines and creates smoother surface finishes, making PLA-LW ideal for projects where both appearance and weight matter.
