The Four PLA Cosmic Finishes

Each finish behaves a little differently, so here is what actually sets them apart:

  • PLA Crystal: a translucent, glass like finish in a single colour. Light passes through the print and the effect changes with wall thickness
  • PLA Crystal Rainbow: the same translucent glass like look, but blending two colours along the length of the spool for a shifting gradient
  • PLA Starlight: a pearlescent metallic shimmer, more subtle than a straight metallic finish
  • PLA Galaxy: a speckled, flecked finish with real depth, closer to a night sky than a flat colour
