How Trade Accounts Work
Who can apply?
Any Australian business with a valid ABN can apply for a FilamentHub Trade Account. It's especially worthwhile if your business is GST registered, since trade pricing is shown ex GST and you can claim it back through your own BAS.
How does trade pricing work?
There's no fixed volume-based discount structure. Most trade customers order through their account at ex GST pricing with no minimum order quantity. If you need larger volumes, get in touch directly. Large orders can sometimes ship straight from the factory to you instead of through our Sydney warehouse, which brings the price down further and cuts out a shipping leg. A minimum order quantity applies to factory-direct orders only; ordering through your trade account as normal has no MOQ.
Paying by purchase order
Trade accounts are built around purchase order (PO) purchasing: place your order with a PO number, and your account or finance team can pay the invoice on your usual terms rather than paying at checkout.
