Why Choose Nylon Filament?
- High strength with natural flexibility
- Excellent impact and abrasion resistance
- Strong chemical resistance for industrial use
- Ideal for functional and end-use parts
Applications
PA filament is commonly used for gears, hinges, brackets, jigs, fixtures, and mechanical parts that require durability, movement, and long-term reliability.
Performance Benefits
- Outstanding toughness and fatigue resistance
- Excellent wear resistance for moving parts
- Strong layer adhesion and mechanical strength
- Suitable for demanding engineering applications
- Long service life in functional components
Important Handling Notes
Nylon filament is hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs moisture from the air. For best results, store filament in a dry box or airtight container and dry before printing if necessary.
Printer Compatibility
Our 1.75mm PA filament is engineered for consistent extrusion and strong layer adhesion. Best results are achieved with enclosed printers, heated beds (70–90°C), and nozzle temperatures between 240–270°C.
Advanced Nylon Options
For increased stiffness and dimensional stability, explore our Carbon Fibre Nylon filament, combining PA with carbon fibre reinforcement for lightweight strength and improved rigidity.
