Why Choose TPU 95A-CF?

Standard TPU flexes freely, which is not always what you want. Adding carbon fibre reinforcement reduces that flex and adds real stiffness, so you get a part that resists mechanical stress and vibration without going fully rigid.

Printer Compatibility and Nozzle Wear

Our 1.75mm TPU 95A-CF prints best on direct drive extruders, with slower speeds and reduced retraction to minimise stringing, the same practice as any TPU.

One thing to plan for: the carbon fibre content is abrasive, the same as any carbon fibre filament. A hardened steel nozzle is recommended, a standard brass nozzle will wear down over time.

Both are rated 95A, but they behave differently once printed. Standard TPU 95A stays fully flexible. Adding carbon fibre here trades some of that flex for real stiffness and dimensional stability, worth it when the part needs to resist mechanical stress rather than bend freely.
