STL Manager by FilamentHub
Can't find that model you downloaded last month? Not sure there's enough filament left on the spool? STL Manager fixes both. A free Windows app that turns your STL and 3MF folders into a library you can actually browse, and keeps track of every spool you own.
Everything for your models and your filament, in one app
See every model
Thumbnails for all your STL and 3MF files, including the picture Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer and PrusaSlicer save in your 3MFs. Spin any model in 3D before you print.
Find anything in seconds
Tags, favourites, notes and search across your whole library. Group models into collections like "Christmas gifts" or "Print next" without moving a single file.
Tame your downloads
New models land in an Unsorted inbox, even the ones inside .zip files. Tag them and file them away in one click, and find duplicates hiding under different names.
Know before you print
Pick your printer and see which models fit the build plate, plus size, volume and an estimate of grams and cost. Open in your slicer or drag a model straight in.
Never run out mid-print
Track every spool, FilamentHub or any brand. Weigh a spool on your kitchen scale to see exactly how many grams are left, and log prints to see what each one cost.
Free, fast and private
No account, no subscription, no ads. Your files are never uploaded. Handles tens of thousands of models, even on a NAS, and running-low alerts link straight to a reorder.
Your filament shelf, without the guesswork
Every spool shows its colour, brand, price and how many grams are left. You get an alert when one drops below 25%, and FilamentHub spools reorder in one click, so a print never runs dry halfway.
Installing
- Click Download for Windows and run the file.
- Windows may show "Windows protected your PC". This appears for new apps from small developers. Click More info, then Run anyway.
- Follow the installer, then open STL Manager from the Start menu and choose your model folders.
Prefer not to install anything? Grab the portable version. It runs straight from the downloaded file.
