BIQU Panda AMS Protection Ring

The filament entry point on a Bambu AMS is one of the highest wear spots in the whole unit. Every metre of filament that loads or unloads rubs against that same hole, and over time it wears down, or burrs, right at the point where filament enters. This ring snaps over the entry point and takes that wear instead of the AMS housing itself.

What It Protects Against

Constant filament movement in and out of the AMS gradually wears the plastic entry hole. Once it burrs, the rough edge can catch filament, especially abrasive or fibre filled materials, and cause fraying or misfeeds right at the entry point. A worn entry hole is a common cause of AMS loading issues after heavy use.
