PETG ESD Black
PETG ESD Black
PETG ESD Black is a static-dissipative PETG built for one job standard filament can't do: keeping static charge from building up on a printed part. Instead of insulating like regular PETG, it lets charge dissipate safely across the surface, the same property you'd want from an ESD mat or an antistatic tray on an electronics bench.
It prints in the same true, deep black as our standard PETG Pro Black, but the additives that give it ESD properties also make it more abrasive to print with, so it needs a hardened steel nozzle rather than standard brass.
The PETG base gives you better heat resistance and more toughness than an ESD PLA, so it holds up better in warm workshops and takes knocks without going brittle. It's still a functional filament rather than a high-performance engineering one, so treat it like PETG for mechanical expectations.
Best Uses
- Trays, bins and organisers for handling static-sensitive electronic components
- Enclosures and mounts for PCBs and other ESD-sensitive electronics
- Jigs and fixtures used on an electronics assembly bench
- Drone, robotics and hobby electronics parts sitting close to sensitive components
Printing PETG ESD Black
- Hardened nozzle required, this filament is abrasive and will wear down a standard brass nozzle
- Nozzle: 230–250°C, same range as standard PETG
- Bed: 70–90°C
- Dry before printing, PETG picks up moisture and prints cleaner after a dry cycle
- No enclosure required

Why Buy From FilamentHub
Precise Diameter Control
Consistent filament diameter is one of the biggest factors in achieving reliable print quality. Our filament is manufactured to a tight tolerance of ±0.02mm, helping ensure smooth extrusion, stable flow rates, and predictable results throughout your print.
Whether you're printing detailed models, functional parts, or long multi-hour jobs, tighter tolerances help reduce under-extrusion, improve layer consistency, and minimise print defects. The result is cleaner surfaces, better dimensional accuracy, and less time spent troubleshooting.
✓ ±0.02mm diameter tolerance
✓ Consistent extrusion and flow
✓ Improved print quality and reliability
✓ Ideal for detailed and functional prints
Neat & Consistent Winding
Every spool is carefully wound to help ensure smooth, reliable feeding from start to finish. Consistent winding reduces the chance of tangles, crossovers, and snags that can interrupt prints or cause feeding issues. The result is a hassle-free printing experience with steady extrusion and dependable performance, whether you're printing small prototypes or multi-day projects.
✓ Tangle-free spool winding
✓ Consistent layer placement
✓ Smooth filament feeding
✓ Reduced risk of print interruptions
Universal 1.75mm Compatibility
Designed to work with virtually all 1.75mm FDM 3D printers, our filament delivers reliable performance across a wide range of brands and machine types. Whether you're running a Bambu Lab, Prusa, Creality, Elegoo, Anycubic, FlashForge, Artillery, Sovol, or another 1.75mm-compatible printer, you can expect smooth feeding, consistent extrusion, and dependable print results.
From direct drive systems to Bowden setups, our filament is engineered to provide hassle-free printing for hobbyists, makers, and professionals alike.
✓ Compatible with most 1.75mm FDM printers
✓ Works with direct drive and Bowden extruders
✓ Suitable for enclosed and open-frame machines
✓ Reliable performance across popular printer brands
Moisture Control Packaging
Moisture can have a significant impact on print quality, causing issues such as stringing, bubbling, inconsistent extrusion, and poor surface finish. To help minimise moisture absorption during storage and transport, every spool is vacuum sealed and packed with a desiccant sachet.
This packaging helps protect filament from humidity exposure before it reaches your printer, preserving filament quality and reducing the risk of moisture-related printing issues.
✓ Vacuum sealed for moisture protection
✓ Desiccant included with every spool
✓ Helps reduce humidity exposure during storage and shipping
✓ Preserves filament quality before use
