ASA-CFRP-CF Red is co-extruded with a dual-layer structure — a carbon-fibre reinforced (CFRP) core wrapped in an ASA outer layer — rather than a standard chopped-fibre blend.
That construction combines carbon fibre's stiffness with ASA's weather and UV resistance, delivering better dimensional stability, higher rigidity, and a smoother surface finish than standard CF blends, with reduced warping.
A hardened steel nozzle and an enclosed printer are required, not optional — carbon fibre is abrasive on standard nozzles, and ASA needs a stable, enclosed environment to avoid warping.
Best Uses
- Outdoor brackets and automotive-style components
- Colour-coded structural parts exposed to weather
- Jigs, fixtures, and tooling needing extra rigidity
- Functional parts requiring dimensional stability under load

ASA Carbon Fibre filament combines ASA’s UV resistance with carbon fibre reinforcement for stiff, durable outdoor-capable prints.
Why Choose ASA CF?
- UV-resistant engineering material
- Stiffer than standard ASA
- Matte technical finish
- Suitable for outdoor and functional parts
Best Uses
ASA CF filament is ideal for outdoor brackets, fixtures, enclosures, jigs, automotive-style parts, and prints needing UV resistance and stiffness.
Unlike standard ASA, this carbon-fibre-filled material offers enhanced resistance to flexing and warping while maintaining excellent UV, weather and heat resistance. The result is a durable engineering material capable of handling harsh outdoor environments, elevated temperatures and long-term exposure to sunlight.
