Bambu Hardened Steel High Flow Hotend Nozzle – H2 Series / P2S / X2D
Bambu Hardened Steel High Flow Hotend Nozzle – H2 Series / P2S / X2D

The Bambu Lab High Flow Hardened Steel Hotend is the replacement and upgrade hotend for the H2 Series, P2S, and X2D — built to push more material through faster while standing up to abrasive filaments that chew through standard brass nozzles.
The high-flow design melts and extrudes more filament per second, which translates directly into faster print times without giving up layer adhesion or surface quality. The hardened steel nozzle handles carbon fibre, glass fibre, glow-in-the-dark, and metal-filled blends without wearing out, and the quick-swap latch design separates the thermal and electronic components so nozzle changes take seconds, not a teardown. Available in 0.4mm, 0.6mm, and 0.8mm to match the job — fine detail, everyday balance, or maximum throughput.
Choose Your Nozzle Size
- 0.4mm: The everyday all-rounder — the best balance of speed, detail, and quality for most prints
- 0.6mm: Faster prints with stronger layer bonding — also Bambu's recommended size for carbon fibre and glass fibre filaments to minimise clogging
- 0.8mm: Maximum throughput for large models, structural parts, and production work where speed and strength come first
Best Uses
- High-speed printing where the standard flow hotend becomes the bottleneck
- Abrasive and composite filaments — carbon fibre, glass fibre, metal-filled, and glow-in-the-dark
- Large-format models, jigs, fixtures, and production runs on 0.6mm and 0.8mm sizes
- Keeping a spare hotend on hand — with the quick-swap latch, a clogged nozzle never has to stop a job for long
Why High Flow Matters
On fast printers like the H2 and X2 series, the limiting factor often isn't how fast the toolhead can move — it's how fast the hotend can melt plastic. Push a standard hotend too hard and you get under-extrusion: weak layers, gaps, and rough surfaces. A high-flow hotend raises that melt ceiling, so the printer can actually run at the speeds it's capable of while extrusion stays consistent.
Compatibility
- Bambu Lab H2D / H2S — compatible with both left and right hotends on H2D
- Bambu Lab H2C — Left (Lifting) Hotend position only
- Bambu Lab X2D — compatible with both left and right hotends
- Bambu Lab P2S
- Note: dual-nozzle printing currently requires the same nozzle size in both positions
