About the CHT Hardened Steel Hot End Nozzle
The CHT Hardened Steel Hot End Nozzle is a high-flow replacement nozzle designed for improved filament melting, stronger wear resistance and smoother extrusion on compatible FDM 3D printers. It combines a CHT-style internal multi-channel flow path with hardened steel construction, making it a practical upgrade for users printing abrasive or filled filaments.
Unlike a standard single-bore nozzle, a CHT-style nozzle splits the filament internally before it exits the nozzle. This helps increase the contact area between the filament and heated nozzle body, supporting more consistent melting and improved flow performance when your printer and hotend are capable of higher material output.
The hardened steel construction provides better wear resistance than brass, making this nozzle suitable for abrasive materials such as carbon fibre, glow-in-the-dark, wood-filled, metal-filled and other specialty filaments. It can also be used with everyday materials like PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA and TPU when you want a longer-lasting nozzle.

Choose a CHT hardened steel nozzle when you want high-flow performance with improved wear resistance for abrasive and specialty filaments.
Compatible with: FDM 3D printers and hotends that use the matching nozzle type, thread and length.
Best Uses: Carbon fibre filament, glow-in-the-dark filament, wood-filled filament, metal-filled filament, abrasive materials, high-flow printing, faster functional prints, larger layer heights, prototypes, durable parts and everyday nozzle upgrades.
Important: Hardened steel nozzles are ideal for abrasive filament, but they may need slightly higher print temperatures than brass nozzles. Always check your slicer settings, printer compatibility and selected nozzle size before printing.
