This is a complete hotend assembly kit for the Bambu Lab P1P and P1S, not just a nozzle. It pairs a TZ 2.0 hardened steel hotend with the ceramic heater plate, thermistor and 2510 fan, so you can rebuild the whole hot end in one go rather than chasing parts individually.

What Is in the Kit

  • TZ 2.0 hardened steel hotend. Hardened steel throughout the melt zone, so abrasive filaments do not wear the bore out of shape the way they do with brass
  • Ceramic heater plate and thermistor. The heating and sensing module that drives the hotend, supplied together as the P1 design intends
  • 2510 fan. The 25 x 25 x 10mm hotend fan, the part that keeps the heatbreak cool and stops heat creeping up into the filament path

When You Need a Whole Assembly, Not a Nozzle

A nozzle swap fixes a worn or blocked tip. It does nothing for the failures further up. If your P1 is throwing temperature errors, heating erratically or refusing to reach target, the ceramic heater or the thermistor is the usual culprit, not the nozzle. If you have heat creep and jams that clear when the printer is cold and return once it is hot, the fan and heatbreak are the place to look. And once a hotend has been through a few clogs, cold pulls and disassemblies, the threads and seal faces are rarely as good as they were.

Replacing the assembly in one piece removes all of those variables at once. It is also considerably less fiddly than trying to separate a seized heatbreak from a block on the bench.

Why Hardened Steel

If you print carbon fibre, glass fibre, glow-in-the-dark or any other filled filament, the abrasive particles cut brass surprisingly fast. A worn nozzle goes oversize gradually, so prints drift out of dimension over weeks and it is easy to blame the slicer. Hardened steel resists that wear. It conducts heat slightly less well than brass, so you may want a few degrees more on the nozzle, which is a fair trade for a part that survives filled materials.

Being Upfront

This is a TZ 2.0 assembly built for the P1 platform, not a Bambu Lab branded part. It is designed to fit and function in place of the original assembly. Fitting it is a genuine maintenance job rather than a two-minute nozzle change, so set aside some time, follow Bambu's complete hot end assembly procedure for the P1 series, and make sure the printer is cold and unplugged before you start.

Choosing a Nozzle Size

  • 0.2mm for fine detail and small parts, at the cost of much longer print times
  • 0.4mm the standard all-rounder, and the right choice if you are unsure
  • 0.6mm for faster, stronger functional parts where layer detail matters less

Compatibility

Bambu Lab P1P and P1S. Not for the X1 series, A1 series or H2 series, which use different hotend assemblies. Running an X1C? Use our TZ 2.0 hotend kit for the X1C instead.

While you have the hot end apart, a little thermal grease on the heater and thermistor seats is worth the thirty seconds it takes. Browse the rest of our parts and upgrades. Ships fast from our Sydney warehouse with Australia-wide delivery.
