About PLA Wood – Black Walnut
PLA Wood Black Walnut is a wood-filled PLA filament designed to replicate the warm, natural appearance of real black walnut timber. With fine wood fibres blended into the filament, prints feature subtle grain variation and an organic matte finish that closely resembles natural wood straight off the printer.
The wood-filled composition gives each print slight colour variation depending on print temperature, layer height, and model geometry, making every piece unique. Prints can be lightly sanded, stained, or sealed to further enhance the wood-like appearance if desired.
PLA Wood Black Walnut prints similarly to standard PLA while offering a natural, textured finish ideal for decorative and functional prints inspired by timber designs.

Wood-filled filaments contain natural fibres. Printing temperature, nozzle size, and speed can affect colour tone and surface texture. Use a larger nozzle to reduce the risk of clogging.
All filament photos are taken in-house under natural lighting to provide the most accurate representation possible of the filament colour and finish.
Compatible with: Bambu Lab Series Printers (H2D, H2S, X1C, P1S, A1, A1 Mini), Prusa MK4, Prusa XL, Creality Ender 3, and most FDM 3D printers using 1.75 mm filament.
Applications: Decorative models, architectural accents, vases, signage, furniture prototypes, and projects where a natural wood appearance is desired.
