About PLA Wood – Red Oak
PLA Wood Red Oak is a wood-filled PLA filament designed to replicate the warm, reddish-brown tones of natural red oak timber. Blended with fine wood fibres, this filament produces prints with subtle grain variation and a natural matte finish that closely resembles real wood straight off the printer.
The wood-filled composition creates gentle colour variation depending on print temperature, layer height, and model geometry, giving each print a unique, authentic wood-like appearance. Finished prints can be lightly sanded, stained, or sealed to further enhance the red oak look if desired.
PLA Wood Red Oak prints similarly to standard PLA while offering a natural, textured surface ideal for decorative and functional prints inspired by classic timber designs.

Wood-filled filaments contain natural fibres. Print temperature, nozzle size, and speed can affect colour tone and surface texture. Using a larger nozzle reduces the risk of clogging.
All filament photos are taken in-house under natural lighting to provide the most accurate representation possible of the filament colour and finish.
