FPLA Pro Orange is the classic basketball colour — the natural choice if you're printing airless basketballs and want them to actually look like one.
Built around resilience rather than just flexibility, it bends, compresses, and bounces back to shape instead of permanently deforming — easier to print than most TPU-based filaments, with no enclosure or hardened nozzle needed.
Best Uses
- Airless basketballs in their classic colour
- Shock-absorbing and energy-return components
- Grips, toys, and sports equipment
- Flexible prototypes needing repeated compression

FPLA filament (also called FPLA+ or Flexible PLA+) is a high‑resilience flexible PLA material supplied on a 1 kg spool in 1.75 mm diameter. It combines the easy printing characteristics of standard PLA with enhanced elasticity and energy return, allowing printed parts to flex, compress and fully recover their shape. This makes it ideal for functional prints that need both flexibility and durability without the complexity of printing very soft TPU.
Why Choose FPLA?
- High‑resilience flexible PLA with excellent energy return and impact resistance
- Easy to print compared to many flexible filaments
- More durable and less brittle than regular PLA
- Maintains its structure while allowing controlled flexibility
- Suitable for repeated flexing, compression and deformation
- Comes on a standard 1 kg, 1.75 mm spool
Best Uses
FPLA filament is ideal for airless basketballs and other sports equipment, shock‑absorbing components, flexible prototypes, wearable products, energy‑return lattice structures, grips, toys, and any application requiring a balance of strength and flexibility.
